AIFILTECH sintered metal cartridge dust collectors use multi-layer sintered wire mesh / sintered metal fiber felt cartridges rated 280-650 C depending on material, with filtration ratings of 3-100 um. Cartridges are regenerable by back-pulsing and washing - ideal for sticky dust, oil mist carryover and low-emission hot gas duty.
The collector consists of sintered metal cartridges, tube sheet, pulse valves, hopper and casing. Cartridges are rolled and welded from multi-layer sintered mesh or sintered metal fiber felt, with high strength against thermal stress and pulse impact. Dust cakes on the outer surface while clean gas exits the bore. The smooth, non-hygroscopic, non-sticky cartridge surface suits sticky and hygroscopic dust; plugged cartridges can be regenerated by online back-pulse or off-line washing for long service life.
Pores of multi-layer sintered mesh are formed by sintering overlaid wire layers into tortuous, graded channels - coarse outer pores pre-filter while inner layers control final rating, balancing low pressure drop with high efficiency. Sintered fiber felt cartridges offer 70-85% porosity and high dust-holding capacity; back-pulse air expands outward from the bore, stripping the cake cleanly for fast differential pressure recovery.
Applied to electroplating acid mist, asphalt fume, dryer exhaust, spray granulation, food/pharmaceutical dust recovery, aluminum chip conveying and hot-air recirculation filtration with sticky or oily dust. 316L/310S/FeCrAl cartridges are selected per dust properties.
