AIFILTECH Ceramic Fiber Blanket - High-Temperature Insulation Material

Temp rating 1050~1400 C
Heat storage Low
Form Rolls & modules

Product Introduction

AIFILTECH ceramic fiber blankets are double-needle-punched for high tensile strength and flexibility, rated 1050-1400 C with low thermal conductivity and low heat storage - for kiln linings, pipe insulation, expansion joints and high-temperature equipment insulation.

Detailed Overview

01 Product Overview

Ceramic fiber blankets are made from fiber blown or spun from high-temperature melting furnaces, then double-needle-punched and heat-stabilized into rolls. The 3D interwoven fiber structure gives high tensile and tear strength; blankets can be layered, folded into modules or wrapped around pipes. Zirconia-grade blankets are rated up to 1400 C, making them the leading material for all-fiber linings.

02 Performance & Mechanism

Randomly interwoven fibers form abundant open and semi-open pores; trapped still air suppresses convection and conduction while the fiber network blocks radiation. Low heat storage allows fast furnace heat-up and cool-down, ideal for intermittent kiln energy saving.

03 Advantages

  • Double-needle-punched, high tensile and tear strength; 2. Rated 1050-1400 C (zirconia grade); 3. Low thermal conductivity and heat storage for energy saving; 4. Flexible rolls for modules and pipe wrapping; 5. Chemically stable against most acids and alkalis.

04 Applications

Used for all-fiber kiln linings, expansion joints, high-temperature pipe insulation, flue duct insulation and marine boiler insulation. Fiber modules and vacuum-formed shapes are available.
