AIFILTECH Ceramic Fiber Paper - High-Temperature Insulation Paper

Temp rating 1050~1260 C
Thickness 0.5~6 mm
Forming Die-cuttable

Product Introduction

AIFILTECH ceramic fiber paper is wet-formed from high-purity aluminosilicate fiber, 0.5-6 mm thick, flexible and easy to cut or wrap, with low thermal conductivity and low shot content - for gaskets, back-up insulation, expansion joints and electrical insulation at high temperature.

Detailed Overview

01 Product Overview

Ceramic fiber paper is produced by a wet paper-making process: fibers are dispersed in water, sheet-formed and dried, giving uniform fiber orientation, a smooth surface and low shot content. The flexible paper can wrap curved parts or be die-cut into gaskets; it is non-combustible, non-dripping at high temperature and offers good electrical insulation.

02 Performance & Mechanism

Interlocking fibers create numerous micro-pores that trap still air and strongly suppress heat conduction. Fine fibers with small contact points lengthen the solid conduction path, so the thin paper offers strong insulation advantages in space-limited high-temperature locations.

03 Advantages

  • 0.5-6 mm thick, flexible and easy to die-cut; 2. Low shot content, smooth surface with minimal dusting; 3. Non-combustible, non-dripping, good electrical insulation; 4. Low thermal conductivity, effective in thin layers; 5. Reinforcement options (glass fiber mesh / foil laminating).

04 Applications

Used for high-temperature flange gaskets, electrical insulation in appliances and industrial equipment, kiln expansion joints, casting separation and aluminum transfer launder linings. Rolls and die-cut shapes are available.

Applications

High-temp gasket Electrical insulation Expansion joints Custom
