Product Introduction

The AIFILTECH Genset Exhaust Bellows Piping System uses multi-ply thin-wall SUS304/SUS316L bellows, bore DN65–DN500, to absorb genset vibration and exhaust-line thermal movement while protecting the purifier, silencer and stack. Elbows, supports and tie rods supplied as a package; flange size and installation length customised to site piping, with insulation and sampling ports optional.

Detailed Overview

01 Product Introduction

Guangzhou TUOKAI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by professionals with over 20 years of experience in high-temperature flue gas treatment and diesel engine exhaust after-treatment, holds multiple independent intellectual property rights, and professionally supplies high-temperature flue gas (exhaust) treatment products and equipment for a wide range of applications.

The AIFILTECH Genset Exhaust Bellows Piping System is a metal bellows assembly and connecting pipework for generator-set exhaust lines. It absorbs genset vibration and thermal movement, isolates mechanical stress, and protects the purifier, silencer and stack piping. The bellows body is multi-ply thin-wall SUS304/SUS316L stainless steel, bore range DN65–DN500, with flanges that bolt directly to the genset exhaust and purifier connections.

Elbows, reducers, supports and tie rods are supplied as a package; flange size, pressure rating and installation length are made to match site piping, with insulation and emission sampling ports optional.

Site profile: gensets vibrate noticeably in operation and exhaust lines expand and contract with heat, so the piping system needs reliable flexible connections and movement compensation.

02 Working Principle

The metal bellows consists of multi-ply thin-wall stainless corrugation welded to end rings and flanges. In operation the elastic corrugation absorbs genset vibration and the axial/lateral thermal movement of the exhaust line, so the purifier and stack piping carry no added stress; during cool-down it compensates contraction equally, preventing flange leaks.

A inner sleeve aligned with the flow lowers pressure drop and shields the corrugation; tie rods (optional) limit excess movement without carrying pressure thrust. Selection is based on bore, medium temperature, movement and installation length, which determine the number of corrugation convolutions and end fittings.

03 Product Advantages

  • Effectively isolates genset vibration, protecting the purifier, silencer and stack piping;
  • Compensates installation tolerance and thermal expansion, and cool-down as well, reducing flange leak risk;
  • Multi-ply thin-wall stainless corrugation: heat-resistant, corrosion-resistant and fatigue-resistant;
  • Inner sleeve lowers flow resistance; smooth inner wall resists carbon build-up;
  • Flange bore DN65–DN500 and pressure rating customised to the piping;
  • Complete supply of elbows, reducers, supports and tie rods; insulation and sampling ports optional.

04 Certifications & Application Cases

As a matching component of the AIFILTECH genset exhaust purification system, this pipework is delivered together with the purifier and has been applied in batch in genset and engine-room retrofit projects. Selection calculation, installation guidance and commissioning support are available.

Applications

Diesel generator sets Construction machinery Forklifts Marine auxiliary engines Mining equipment Engine test benches Emergency power trucks Tunnel construction Airports Port terminals Construction sites Municipal roads

All data above are obtained under specific test conditions; the actual solution must be engineered to site conditions. AIFILTECH provides custom design and sizing based on actual gas volume, temperature, dust characteristics and emission limits.
