Product Introduction

Nickel mesh is plain or twill woven from pure nickel wire with precise openings, alkali-resistant and conductive - for electrolyzer electrodes and current collectors, batteries, sieving and EMI shielding, 2-300 mesh (including AEM electrolyzer mesh).

Detailed Overview

01 Product Overview

Nickel mesh is plain or twill woven from pure N4/N6 nickel wire with a flat surface, uniform openings and precise warp/weft diameters. Pure nickel resists alkali and neutral salt spray and welds well. Besides standard rolls, meshes can be blanked into discs or strips, spot-welded and edge-wrapped as ready-to-fit parts.

02 Performance & Mechanism

Nickel mesh is precision-woven from N4/N6 pure nickel wire, available as single-layer plain/twill weave or multi-layer composite sintered structure. After rolling and sintering, the staggered pore layers form a pore-size gradient from surface to core, combining filtration accuracy, dirt-holding capacity and mechanical strength - overcoming the clogging and deformation weaknesses of single mesh. As AEM electrolyzer diffusion layer / current collector it offers high open area and low resistance; laminating with nickel felt further improves support. Also widely used for liquid filtration, gas-liquid distribution and EMI shielding.

03 Advantages

  • Full 2-300 mesh range with precise apertures; 2. Pure N4/N6 nickel - alkali-resistant and conductive; 3. AEM electrolyzer specific mesh counts and wire diameters; 4. Blanking, spot welding and edge wrapping available; 5. Rolls and cut pieces with stable lead time.

04 Applications

For AEM/alkaline electrolyzer electrodes and collectors, NiMH and power battery electrodes, melt filtration, sieving, EMI shielding and food-grade screens. Custom mesh assemblies to drawing.
