Detailed Overview

01 Product Introduction

Guangzhou TUOKAI Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was founded by professionals with over 20 years of experience in high-temperature flue gas treatment and diesel engine exhaust after-treatment, holds multiple independent intellectual property rights, and professionally supplies high-temperature flue gas (exhaust) treatment products and equipment for a wide range of applications.

The AIFILTECH Genset Exhaust Purification Control Valve Unit consists of an electric butterfly valve (pneumatic actuator optional) and a stainless control cabinet. It is the matching electrical control component for AIFILTECH genset black smoke purifiers, handling automatic switching between the purification branch and the bypass branch, back-pressure interlocking and status monitoring, and can be integrated into complete exhaust treatment systems.

The cabinet collects purifier back pressure and genset status and drives the valve automatically according to the set logic — no manual switching on site. Valve position is fed back in real time, with dry-contact or RS485 remote signalling optional. Protection rating IP65 suits humid, dusty engine rooms; bore and flange standard are made to match site piping.

Site profile: genset purification systems are spread across many sites with limited staffing, calling for highly automated, remotely monitorable control components.

02 Working Principle

During operation, the cabinet continuously collects the purifier inlet/outlet back pressure and the genset start-stop signals. When the genset starts, the valve directs exhaust into the purification branch where it is filtered by the TPS elements; as captured particles build up, back pressure rises and, upon reaching the set threshold, the cabinet issues a regeneration prompt and can switch exhaust to the bypass branch per the preset logic, so element regeneration can be arranged without stopping the genset.

Valve position, fault and running-status signals are indicated on the cabinet panel and can be uploaded to the control room via dry contacts or RS485 for remote monitoring and alarms.

03 Product Advantages

  • Automatic operation: switches between purification and bypass branches according to back pressure and genset status, no manual action needed on site;
  • Real-time valve position feedback; remote signalling optional (dry contact / RS485);
  • Control cabinet rated IP65 for humid, dusty engine rooms;
  • Plug-and-play integration with AIFILTECH genset black smoke purifiers;
  • Electric or pneumatic actuation optional; bore and flange standard customised to site piping;
  • Fault alarm and manual override for safe, convenient maintenance.

04 Certifications & Application Cases

As a matching component of the AIFILTECH genset exhaust purification system, this control valve unit has passed tests by CMA, CAL, ILAC-MRA and CNAS accredited laboratories together with the system, and has been supplied in batch for genset, airport and port projects. Selection calculation, installation guidance and commissioning support are available.
